Container Stuffing & Consolidation

Export stuffing is not just loading boxes into a container - it is a sequence of weight, balance, and documentation decisions that determine whether a shipment sails without incident. Our facility handles container stuffing and export consolidation as an operational discipline, not a side task, with certified VGM weighing and lashing built into every load.

Export Consolidation from Our Facility

Not every exporter fills a container on their own. When cargo from several suppliers or production runs needs to travel together, our team receives, sorts, and stuffs it into a single unit under one consolidation plan. Each shipper's cargo is tracked separately through receiving, staging, and loading, so customs paperwork and delivery instructions stay accurate even when the container carries mixed origins.

Weight Distribution & Load Planning

Uneven weight inside a container affects axle loads on the chassis, crane handling at the terminal, and stability at sea. Before stuffing begins, our planners map cargo weight against the container floor, keeping heavier items low and centered and avoiding concentrated point loads that can stress the floor structure. This planning step is what separates a stuffing job from simply filling available space.

VGM Weighing & Certified Documentation

Every export container leaving our yard is weighed and certified before gate-out, in line with the SOLAS VGM requirement carriers enforce at booking.

MethodHow it works
Method 1Whole container weighed on calibrated scale after stuffing
Method 2Cargo weight calculated and added to container tare weight

Our facility issues the VGM certificate on the day of stuffing so the figure reaches the carrier ahead of the cut-off, avoiding rolled bookings caused by late or missing weight data.

Certified Lashing & Operation Flow

Once weight and placement are set, cargo is secured with lashing methods matched to its shape and fragility - strapping, dunnage bags, timber bracing, or void-fill - so nothing shifts once the doors close. The full flow runs from cargo intake to sealed, documented container:
